Deerline Advances, a small-business funding broker in Prescott, Arizona, offers this free commercial loan payment calculator. Enter an amount, an annual rate and a term in months to see the monthly payment, total interest and total repaid on a fixed-payment loan. Results are estimates from your inputs, not offers. Real rates and terms come only from a lending partner.
| Inputs | Amount, annual rate, term in months |
|---|---|
| Outputs | Monthly payment, total interest, total repaid |
| Assumes | Fixed rate, equal monthly payments, no fees |
| Not for | Merchant cash advances or real-estate loans |
What the calculator computes
It applies standard amortization: equal monthly payments that cover each month's interest and pay the principal down to zero by the last payment. It shows the monthly payment, the total interest over the term, and the total repaid (principal plus interest).
It does not include origination charges, other fees, balloon payments, variable rates or weekly schedules. If an offer includes any of those, add them by hand or ask the partner for the total cost in writing.
A worked example with made-up figures
Hypothetical inputs only, chosen for easy arithmetic and not a quote: $60,000 borrowed at an annual rate of 10 percent. Over 60 months the calculator returns a payment of about $1,274.82, total interest of about $16,489 and a total repaid of about $76,489. Shorten the term to 36 months and the payment rises to about $1,936.03, while total interest falls to about $9,697.
That trade-off is the main thing the calculator teaches: a longer term lowers the monthly payment and raises the total cost.
Reading the three outputs
- Monthly payment: what leaves the account each month. Set it against your average monthly deposits.
- Total interest: the price of borrowing over the full term if every payment is made on schedule.
- Total repaid: the amount plus interest. Use it to compare offers of different lengths.
Change one input at a time. Raising the term shows how much a lower payment costs in extra interest; lowering the amount shows what putting some cash in yourself saves.
Commercial loans and commercial real-estate loans
Owners searching for a commercial loan calculator sometimes mean a loan on a building. Commercial real-estate loans often run long terms, may carry balloon payments, and are outside the six options Deerline Advances arranges. This calculator fits business term loans and similar fixed-payment funding for equipment, build-outs and working capital.

What a cash flow loan calculator is
Some sites use 'cash flow loan calculator' for a tool that checks whether a payment fits your monthly cash flow. This calculator does not do that. Do it by hand: take your average monthly deposits from the last few bank statements, subtract your regular costs, and compare what is left with the payment the calculator shows. If the payment would use most of what is left, the term or amount needs rethinking.
Using results responsibly
Every result reflects only the figures you typed. A partner's offer may differ in rate, term, fees and payment schedule. More Arizona guides wait on the resources page.
